Credit Intermediation

Nowadays, applying for a mortgage is a lengthy process that requires time and patience.

Banks and credit institutions are demanding more and more documents in order to analyze the financial situation of potential clients and decide whether or not they are suitable for the loan.

In addition to personal documents, other documents are also required, such as the previous year's personal income tax return, pay slips or a statement of liabilities.

In order to obtain good conditions, it is essential that you compare offers from various institutions, so that you know which is best for you.

Because each of us is becoming less and less available, and because it's a time-consuming process, if you have to go to several banks, the solution may be to use a credit intermediary to save you time and money.

This is because credit intermediaries are already used to dealing with loan applications at banks and know all the stages of the process, which makes it quicker than if the consumer were to deal with everything without any support.

A credit intermediary is a person, natural or legal, who assists in the process of granting credit. All credit intermediaries authorized in Portugal must be registered with the Bank of Portugal.

VILAMAIS is a tied credit intermediary, i.e. it acts under the full and unconditional responsibility of the lender or several lenders with whom it has signed a binding contract.

Vila Mais Sociedade de Mediação Imobiliária has been registered with the Bank of Portugal as a tied credit intermediary since January 2019, under no. 819, verifiable at www.bportugal.pt/intermediarios-credito.
